Hi, everyone! My name (in case you couldn't figure it out...) is Sun-Yi. I'm a student here at NYU along with Derek and Matt. I just started school this year and I'm a film major. I'm really looking forward to getting involved with the Monster Hunter Club, although the scariest thing I've seen lately was some unknown object in the drain of the dorm shower... shudder.

So what about everyone else? I don't see an introduction-type thread in here. Who are all you people?

Welcome Sun-Yi!

What a cool name, it reminds me of SUNNY Smile

Sorry to say, things have been pretty quiet around here lately, but I try to check in every couple of days or so. I've seen some of The Originals around the net from time to time at different forums, and I'm hoping that things will get more exciting around here now that we've got these spiffy new digs!

So you know Derek personally huh? I've only chatted with him a couple of times but he seems likes a pretty good guy - but what do I know heh, I only come here because of his comedic personality and school boy charm. Wink

But seriously, welcome!

I add my welcomes Sun-Yi. Look forward to you joining the ranks (as small as we are)

A film major? That sounds wow. Have you made any fliks yourself?
Bigfoot? Champ?

Hey you're welcome to be our resident videographer, maybe you're just what we need around here to avoid blurry, grainy, distant blobs?

We'll be famous together!!

Don't let them pester you Sun-Yi. They're harmless, but hyper.

Welcome to our little corner of the net, nice to meet you and I hope we'll see lots more of you around these parts.

Very Happy

Ok, two of my most recent projects - helping with the How to Fake a Bigfoot Sighting video and my video blog from yesterday. Smile

Yeah really, 3 months...that explains the Great NY Powder Shortage of '06. There are an awful lot of chafed babies out there who deserve an apology... Wink

Since we've had a bunch of new people on the forums lately, I'll go ahead and sticky this thread, so new people can introduce themselves if they want.

Hi, I'm Derek! I make dumb jokes, collect toys and pretend to study.

Hi! I'm RedHatty - Red for short. I have always been intrigued by Cryptozoology & totally believe that the Monsters are real! I am so PSYCHED to be part of the Monster Hunt Club!

I am from the New Orleans area & while during Mardi Gras, we have many things seen that might be believed to be classified as Monsters, it's all just for fun.

Thanks for having a place where we can all hang out!

From the look of it, a lot of us are new here. I'm Phaetor and I'll be your wet-blanket skeptic for this evening.

Welcome, guys, I'm thrilled to have you! Even the wet-blanket... I can get a bit overexcited sometimes and veer into "Cryptidiot" territory, so the occasional Tranq-Dart-o-Reason to the neck can be a good thing. Wink

I'm Mountain Girl or MG for short. Smile

Living in the Appalachian Mountains, I can't help but be fascinated by the Mothman sightings and prophecies. Ya'll come visit! We'll go on a real-life southern style moth hunt. Then we can sit on the porch, sip some white lightening, and talk about how big an overactor Richard Gere is.
